Project Management
Through action research we have developed a clever methodology to develop competency standards that identifies job requirements, tasks and skills required. The process involves the design of competency based job skills profiles for the main roles within each specific industry sector and the use of an online mapping tool. Consultation processes benchmark the job skills profiles, with live job descriptions from across the industry sector, identifying alignment and mismatch for further development work.
Our company was engaged by National Industry Skills Council, Innovation and Business Services Australia, to redevelop the Customer Contact competencies and qualifications for the Business Services National Training Package. We designed 32 competency based job skills profiles and benchmarked them with over 60 different representative organisations from around Australia resulting in streamlined competencies and new competencies that targeted very specific gaps such as disaster management.
We have developed a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Workforce Capability Framework and a VET Business Analysis Tool that we use with our clients to identify the return on investment in VET.
